Eighth Annual

Kentucky Science & Engineering Fair

In order to compete in the Kentucky Science and Engineering Fair (KY-SEF), Kentucky students must be enrolled in grades 5 through 12 in any public, private or parochial school. They must have won a 1st or 2nd place category award from a Kentucky regional fair that is affiliated with IISEF. Five at-large projects, middle school and high school, will be allocated to each affiliated fair for designation as competitive entries for KY-SEF. Each regional fair determines the criteria by which the at-large participants are selected. All projects must meet INTEL and safety guidelines.

All students that participate at KY-SEF must be attending a school in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
